About the Client
ScoreMonster is a comprehensive sports management software designed and developed by Da Vinci Software. It serves as an online platform for managing teams, leagues, and content. The primary goal of ScoreMonster is to simplify statistics tracking and league interactions, catering to athletes, coaches, and fans at all levels of sports.
The story behind the ScoreMonster
The idea for improving ScoreMonster began in May 2015 when Da Vinci Software decided to overhaul the platform’s user interface. At that time, the existing design was outdated and didn’t align with modern industry standards. The user experience also didn’t provide the ease and functionality needed by athletes and coaches.
Steve Loos, the founder and President of Da Vinci Software, realized the importance of a more visually appealing and user-friendly design. He wanted to create a website that felt like a true sports management platform, rather than just another generic management tool. The goal was to attract a wider audience of sports enthusiasts and provide a better overall experience for the users.
Challenges We Faced
The main challenges for this project included:
- The redesigned interface needed to be intuitive and easy to navigate for users at all skill levels.
- The website had to visually communicate that it was specifically designed for sports management, offering a dynamic and engaging experience.

The ultimate goal was to improve the platform’s functionality while ensuring it was visually appealing and simple to use, so the target audience like sports professionals and fans could engage with it more effectively.
